Q. How did you come up with the title of your book? The title Moonlight Confessions – Whispers of the Soul emerged naturally from the heart of the poems themselves. Each piece is rooted in quiet reflection, born in moments when the world is still and the mind is most honest. The moonlight became a metaphor for solitude, calm, and clarity—when inner voices grow louder in the silence of the night. These poems are confessions of the soul, thoughts often left unspoken, feelings we carry quietly within. The title reflects that intimate space where emotions surface without fear, and the soul is finally allowed to whisper its truth.

Q. What inspired you to write this book? My inspiration came from a quiet yet persistent inner voice—one that urged me to listen, feel, and express. It was deeply shaped by the unconditional love I share with the people closest to my heart—their presence, support, and faith in me. Those emotions, often too profound to speak aloud, found their way onto paper. Poetry became my way of preserving love, vulnerability, and truth, and of giving voice to feelings that live silently within us all. This book is a reflection of that inner calling and the love that continues to guide me. Q. Among all themes and topics, why did you choose this one in particular? I selected these themes because human emotions, relationships, and unconditional love form the very foundation of human existence. They shape who we are, how we endure, and how we grow. I believe that love—and the pen—carry a strength as powerful as a sword, capable of helping us confront and conquer life’s battles. When we are surrounded by the right people who truly love and support us, we don’t merely survive; we succeed and thrive. These poems are a reflection of that belief. Q. What personal experiences have shaped your writing the most? My journey through relationships—with my parents, siblings, friends, and life partner—has been a source of immense gratitude. I feel blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. Coupled with my constant striving in education and career, and an unwavering urge to chase my dreams, these experiences flowed into poems that seek to inspire and uplift other souls. Q. What does being a published author mean to you, beyond seeing your words in print? It fills me with a strong sense of personal achievement. Though I am a working professional and not a full-time writer, reaching a wider audience is deeply fulfilling. I hope my words nudge the world toward kindness, knowing that everyone is fighting a battle we may never see. Q. What can we, as readers expect from this book? This book becomes the voice of emotions you hesitate to speak and the feelings you couldn’t name. It gives language to what lives within you, nurturing empathy and emotional courage. Above all, it dares you to carry unconditional love in a world that often chooses practicality over the heart. Q. How do you expect your readers to use this book optimally? I hope readers approach this book slowly and mindfully, allowing each poem the time it deserves. This is not a book to rush through, but one to sit with—to absorb the emotions, reflect on the words, and recognize parts of yourself within them. I hope it rekindles the love that often gets buried in a practical, fast-moving world, reminding readers to lead with empathy and kindness. Above all, I wish it encourages them to listen to their inner voice, believe in their dreams, and find the courage to follow them—no matter how quietly they begin.
